I have a set of aftermarket parking sensors, 6 in total 4 rear and 2 front, it has a display for mounting on the dashboard. Has anyone got/have experience with these and experience in fitting them or am I on my own here. If so then I will endevour to document the fit and wireing into my T202 estate. Ian

I fitted a set of 4 rear only audible sensors to my brother-in-laws Saab 9-3 saloon.

Very easy install, especially as I mounted the sensors in the removable trim (as per OEM on the Saab). Took just over an hour or so, I have some pictures somewhere.

If the trim panel isn't removable then it's really a bumper off job.

Hi thanks for that, they do supply a hole saw (drill) of the right size, I know that the outside of the rear and front bumpers is sheathed in the exterior plastic. The supplied instructions are as clear as mud, typical translation into english that one ussed to get from the Chinees/Japanees of about 20 years ago. Okay then gona give it a shot, I have had them for more than a year now on the shelf so I think it is about time i fitted them. Cheers Ian

I fitted a set to my CLK which had the dash display. Very easy with the worst bit being that the bumper had to come off for access. I should have done some pics of the job in hindsight . Still on mine after I had removed the bumper I found that the rub strip is marked for sensor location so it was just a matter of using the supplied holesaw in the locations .I mounted the control box under the boot floor next to the battery, then run the display cable to the dash and mounted the display on the drivers side above the vent. The wiring is under the door kick plate and behind the door seal so can not be seen, apart from one inch where it enters the display unit. All in all an easy and very useful mod.
