Hi
My parktronic as stopped working,it does not make a sound and does not light up at all,i have made sure the surfaces of the sensors are free of snow but it refuses to work!,is it possible to blow a fuse?.
Any ideas on the subject would be welcomed
Regards

If it isn't giving a fault warning when you switch the ignition on, I'd assume that there's ice near the sensors (e.g. in the hairline gaps where they are mounted) interfering with their operation and all will be OK once thawed. Mine misbehaved (false triggers) when it was cold even though they appeared clear- they were back to normal after a longish journey.

I was rather hoping someone would say that and hope the temp rises over the next few days.

Others might suggest you don't do this but pouring some "lukewarm" water on the sensors would melt any ice etc...

I had a couple of false alarms on the front sensors of parktronic yesterday - I decided to go for a drive, test the winter tyres, and fuel up and I the snow came down and covered the front of the car.

Does that mean you will actually have to park the car ...........manually?:eek::eek:
