does anyone know the part number for the mercedes bonnet star on a W124?
Some bright spark decided to snap the one off my mates car.

210?? wouldn't that be for the W210 and not the W124? Maybe they are the same but I would have thought that the part number would start 124, possibly 201, or even maybe 123. Heh then again I could be totally wrong.

The part was probably updated slightly and the car it was first fitted to after update was a w210, that kind of thing happens all the time.

How does that bloke on ebay keep selling them for £20?

Part Nos as follows...
Early (on top of grille) 124 880 00 86
Late (on bonnet) 202 880 01 86 (can also use 210 880 01 86)
