Can anybody help me with a part number? I think i need a new MAF - Fault code

Powertrain: Fuel Trim System Lean Bank 1

I am getting someone to take the air box off and check for ubiquitous split pipe too and i thought i would change the MAF at the same time. I have seen them on ebay for £75 Is that too cheap?

Whatever you do,make sure it's a Bosch one!

Before you go spending, there is a breather pipe under the air box that splits and can cause this fault.

Why are the cheap ones terrible?

They either are faulty out of the box, or fail in no time at all. False economy sums them up.

If you have the 271 engine (I think you have) the air mass sensors rarly go wrong. Only replace it if it really needs it. Check the live data of the sensor when the new pipe is fitted.
