PCS Anual GTG on the 18th of May 2013

Thank you Olly and Co for a fantastic GTG. Great to see some old friends and make some new ones too, Simon you need to join the forum soon! I will post up some pictures tomorrow. :-)

Looks like a great day out, more photos please as I'm bed ridden with mumps (yes really!)

Who's is the red C209?

Thanks for a great day Olly and everyone involved at PCS, I had a great time meeting up with some old friends and some new ones.

The cars were amazing, never seen so many AMG 55's and 63's in one place before.

Thanks for the food it was great.

Can I just say fellas what a great bunch of lads you all are on here.

Great to meet some of you. Sorry I had to go early. School summer fair to attend (bar duty);)

Another great PCS day, thank you Olly, Jack, Graham & Pauline for a very well organised event.
The day started well met with Rashman, SJ Maxwell, Mr Poseidon & The_Don at Clacketts and we had a mini convoy to Horndean no Smokey & the Bandit stuff but we did have the odd play.

The C63 Black Series through the tunnel was aural ecstasy and Rash & SJ had their cars in mint condition.

The weather held well although there was a point when Rash was looking a little nervous.

Within 10 mins of arriving I had managed to spend a weeks food on Zaino products much to the amusement of BrabusSL, I only wash my car once every couple of months so it should last me a lifetime :D

I forgot my camera but I hope one of you got a shot of Olly with tools in his hands, a rare sight these days (not sure if he was just moving them from one place to another) :D

The food was awesome and the setting with all those amazing Merc's was a real sight to behold.

Seeing all the guys into engine mods poke around in engine bays trying to see what the "competition" had going on, the detailers salivating over shiny paintwork and finally the classic lovers quoting model numbers that sounded like an exotic penetraiting fluid :D

Just as I was about to leave I got a call and had to come to the rescue of MoAMG & mbzclk who had somehow managed to get there cars locked in at PCS :dk: and then found I was called upon 15 mins later to fix mbzclk's on the side of A3 was probably not the safest place to fix it but we got the job done and headed on safely.

It was great to see so many enthusiasts and I will try to remember as many names as possible when we meet again.

This must be one of the biggest Mercedes meets in the country and one I will look forward to again next year :thumb:

Great day and some lovely cars. :thumb:

Cheers Phil for the spin in the 63! That certainly is an amazing exhaust fitted to it. :thumb:

Olly thanks for the ATF Fluid change... More to come on this further below...

Food was nice and certainly better to have the GTG at the pub.

Thanks for a great day!

The journey home was pretty much a f*cking disaster however!

Firstly dropped MoAMG back to Olly's quickly as he is leaving his car there and put my car into the overspill place we normally park at Olly's (directly next door).

Went for a spin in his E55 and returned to find myself locked in! Why the hell did I not just park on Olly's drive I don't know!

SavMan to the rescue arrived with a key for the gate and got me unlocked! :thumb:

It gets worse.

Started pressing on a when on the A3, and then heard a thud followed by a rattling noise, so pulled over with SavMan following behind and the under tray had worked it self undone from earlier! :fail

Between us no one has any tools :fail- FFS I really don't want to lose under trays or anything of that kind. So slowly we nursed the car towards a Halfords to get some tools but found a RAC man on the way.

SavMan managed to borrow a socket from the RAC patrol and undone the entire tray. SavMan you really are a star.

Got the seats down (It's massive!!) !! loaded up my grazed and cracked under tray

Back to London!

Tired. Tired. Tired. I'll post properly tomorrow. Now I'm in some serious need of some sleep!

SavMan I owe you a few drinks!!

mbzclk........ thanks for leading us back to Olly's and the A3:thumb:

Thanks to Olly for putting on a great event. :thumb: and also for the friendly enthusiasts that attended making everyone feel welcome and at ease. Great day great location great cars and great bunch of people....

Lovely barbecue too. ;)

Cheers
Mark

Thanks Ollie for the day, as usual it was a good meet.

Those lanes from Horndean to Finchdean are a bit tight..had to think a bit thin when a camper van came the other way in the middle of the road. Justin wasn't the only one getting a bit bothered about his paintwork.

A few pics from the afternoon.

I thought this car was great, a real show piece for Mercedes.

We all know modern AMG cars come with a signed engine plaque.

But a signed windscreen...??

Made by Gottlieb himself. Nothing is too good for MOCAS.

Ollie's dabble with a kids meccano set produced

Which is pretty good for spray painting fences in any colour, as long as it's black. ;)

Some of the cars are kept in very nice condition and as such protected well to preserve them, so it's logical to have floor mats to protect the carpets.

Some people go a stage further... mats to protect the mats...

I wonder who's car this could be?

Kyan enjoyed the day too and cant wait for the next "Car Meet NOT Car Show!"

Fantastic GTG - best I've been to so far. Loads of great cars, pub was an excellent idea, food was brilliant ... and the sun shone! Many thanks to Olly for arranging.

Went home with the hood down - despite that my 5 year old son was asleep 5 minutes after joining the A3! Not even the acoustics of the Hindhead tunnel ;) woke him up :D
