PCS gtg and BENZ ON THE GREEN, May 14th 2016!

What does the drive out consist of? Is it a convoy around the area? How far will we be going? Am I lucky to get lost being my first time haha!

Think it's around 30 miles, basically Goodwood and back round the lanes. I don't bother with this usually, though may try it, there again may not.

What time should I aim to be at PCS?

Any time after 08:30 really, most people are there by around 10:00

Coming from Guildford area but be picking my mate up from Liphook so if the convoy from Cobham services is coming past at a certain time I may join them.

Be worth it for the laugh, I know a few who'll be there and it should be a good run down.

It might be a good idea for one of the organisers to state a time that they would like people to arrive at the George.
This would prevent any confusion about when to leave PCS.

I say this because some will be going on the local drive and some won't.
We have been advised not to head over to the George when people go out for the drive but it still leaves people who are not going on the drive guessing when to head over to the George...

We are not on a regimented timeline so don't want anyone to worry too much!

To confirm, the drive out will leave from PCS at 11, so please be ready so depart a bit before then so we all get out together! The drive out is an hours drive in convoy across and over the South Downs to Goodwood and back in a loop. Beautiful roads and scenery. Please make sure you are fuelled up before you arrive!

Yes, marshals ready at the George from about 11.30, PCS closes by 12 and any remaining folk there will head over then. The aim is to have everyone at the George soon after 12. Barbecue will be served up around 12.30- 1ish. Please don't forget that this year the pub are operating the bbq themselves so it is chargeable. In addition the pub has its normal full menu available.

We'd like to remind everyone again that we do have a photographer and videographer who will be active all day and on the drive out too! No speeding!!!
