Just keep away from the porn sites and you will be fine... thats where most of dial up software comes from apprently (not that I would know...). if u have a dial up connection it changes the default free dialup number from ur ISP to a premium rate number....

a minor point - whilst dialler and hijack programmes cannot function on broadband/cable they still make a mess of your registry - it is always worth blocking and browser/dialler hijack . Microsoft were doing a good free antispyware programme .Acronis is usually availabe free on computer magazine cds and works well

worst place for hijack programmes funnily enough seems to be those with "free" screensaver, desktops and wallpapers . Not that i would know about porn sites you understand...................

One of the worse places to pick up diallers and other nasties is from video clips and other animated cartoons etc, that normally circulate this time of year Merry Cristmas. :bannana: :bannana:
