only rough n ready I'm afraid

Personally I wouldnt go as dark as black, I'd use light charcoal.

Gunmetal grey is a nice colour ;)

:D or "light black" ?:D

Or....leave them..they look great anyway

I've looked at the current and suggested pics a few times and I don't like the dark black. The charocoal/light black looks better but I'm not sure if it's better than the current look though. Don't dislike the new look - just not sure.

Now they are Techart wheels Howard... very very nice, loadsa $$$$ I think the black is too much however i like the light black/grey....

Yes the lighter black.

black is a no go on road cars, IMO it is too far towards motorsport which is fine on the track but on the road... nah! Rather than a gunmetal grey because there's still something about them that looks a bit dull, try looking towards shadowed chrome paints, it gives quite a unique effect and it is a subtle difference next to the gunmetal grey but its enough to make you think wow rather than the usual "oh look someone got bored and sprayed their wheels"

Agree with Tilly. BMW do a smoked grey finish on some M cars' alloy wheels that give the "light black" effect without looking like someone had a spare pot of black hanging around the garage.

Black wheels are strictly Exige, GT3, F40 territory.
