Try closing all interior vents (thumbwheels) before leaving the car at night.

Have you tried this?

Yes i have tried all those you suggest but am now going to search for a Valet/Skeleton key.

Is ther anyway of disabling the car alarm at all?

P.S. Now having probs with the internet. Bad 24hrs!

Does it have a "Towing" switch? On mine it has a picture of the back end of a tow truck with a little crane on it. That turns off the 'exterior' motion sensor.

I Had an mx5 and had mini discs at the time in the centre cubby, they interfeared with the clifford alarm I had on that back then.

Isnt this a classic sign of the battery on its road out? Dropping voltage and tripping?

Have you tried parking it further away from your house.

You get a good sleep, your neighbours do. Happy days.

Fine, but not too far away, it might start affecting my sleep.

Does a 2003 R230 have a normal key looking Keyless Go key? Has the metal blade been taken out from the key, sounds odd. I understand if it had the older credit card like KG key, then the metal blade would need to be somewhere (likely lost )
