Porsche Carrera 4S Am I a Bully....

So I'm coming down a slip road to join a dual carriageway there s a super slow car in front but I bite my lip and let him do his thing, look In my rear view mirror to see a silver Porsche trying to get in my boot....! We all pull onto the dual carriageway and I indicate straight away to pull out into the outside and to get past Mr slow.... But Mr Porsche can't wait and is straight into the outside lane and flys past..... REMOVE your getting it...! Absolutely destroyed the fker. Couldn't look at me as I went past. Think he thought I will show this old Merc.....! But he come unstuck....!
E55k The ultimate sleeper.....? Quite possibly :D
Lee

I would have done the same Porsche ****ers

To OP & Others Why do you think we have a swear filter?

When did it become illegal to overtake in the UK?

I was coming down a 40mph road yesterday & a Mondeo pulled out from a side road as I was about 1/4 mile away, as I came towards him I slowed down but as we were going along we were down to 28mph but the limit had changed to 50mph as we had passed all the junctions & it was a straight road ahead, well my car was showing that. So I indicated & pulled out around him, no other cars insight either way & as I did she just kept her hand on her horn...? I saw her male passenger gesticulating so I slowed down & dropped the blind gave the ,IMO, the appropriate signal & went on my way. We came to a roundabout & the guy is still shaking his hand ...so I got out to discuss what was the problem & they promptly went into another lane, pulled in front of a car already on the round about...oh & the hand shaking had stopped by then...strange people.:dk:

Perhaps he thought that you read the wrong newspaper.

Good question. It does seem that if you overtake on a single carriageway road nowadays you are automatically considered to be some kind of maniac.

Maybe an creative writing course would be good for you...your lack of ability to express yourself coherently and with dignity is such a shame...and yet you quote scripture.

There shall be weeping, and gnashing of teeth.

To answer the original question; No, you're not a bully... but maybe a spoilsport.

The problem is that when people drive so aggressively like that, you feel obliged to let them know that you won't be intimidated. - We were overtaken by a BMW on the way home yesterday, and my wife said "That's why we bought a Mercedes, I don't want to be associated with that kind of driving."

It's interesting watching the demographic of this forum change over the years as some of the more modern very powerful AMG's have become quite affordable to buy as they get older.

This thread is actually quite a representative example of that.

I'm at a point in my life now where I let the aggressive overtaking guy get on with on it and free to have his accident elsewhere and not involving me.

Just let 'em get on with it.

Reminds me of a sticker I saw in the rear screen of some then-fast car years ago:

I DON'T HAVE TO PROVE A THING

Sometimes it is to add emphasis; sometimes humorous; sometimes just because it's the appropriate word; sometimes just the casual use of anatomical obscenity so common nowadays, and that I, too, find offensive

****s!

everyone off to the naughty step, apart from the posters who are already to old to get out of their comfy chairs.

I love threads like this. It sorts out what members are thinking in a very short space of time. Nothing like a bit of controversy to liven up the day!

FWIW, I'd have done the same as Lee. No need for the Porsche driver to do that.
It's juvenile to retaliate, but sometimes it just makes you feel better. As long as no harm is done.

Absolutely. They also do a good job of occupying any plods who happen to be about ;)

I grew bored of tormenting 911's, most of the owners can't drive for **** and lose their bottle once you hit 130.

Tststs....some of us do drive a 911 and trust me in the right hands is super fast and at the end it's down to the driver... also above certain speed the AMG will stay behind... how do I know... couple of years back I had a bit of fun with an e63 in Germany as he hit the speed limiter :)

:doh:Wow
A very tasty thread this has turned into....
First thing... I didn't post this as a willy waving mines bigger than yours.... There is always something faster....
It just ****** me right off that I was being courteous and not jumping all over the car in front of me but mr Porsche couldn't wait 10 seconds for me to get past mr slow. There would then have been no acting like a **** from me :wallbash:
P.s see how I haven't tried to trick the swear filter:thumb:

I don't believe you're a 911 owner, you've got too much of a sense of humour.

Don't worry about it, I'm sure none of those being pious have even gone 1mph over the speed limit or had a mini race in a moment of madness.

Let he without sin and all that...
