There is one of these TATA pickups not far from me, its white and the owner changed the badges for Merc ones.

I actually saw an R REG one of these sell on Ebay for seventy six quid T&T Too

Seat moved on and got parts from VW and Audi..

Sure porsches use VAG parts anyway, all the switchgear is VW.

Seat is part of the VAG group, hence the cars themselves are 100% vw not just borrowed parts.

Well its one of the TATA pickups.

As far as I can tell they are not 124 based, just styled to look like the 124.

They were based on Merc 190.

I remeber I had one...

I think the decal was "System Porsche" IIRC - must have impressed me to have remembered so long!!

I remember, my first car with over 100bhp at the ripe old age of 20 and one of only 500 imported to the uk Seat Ibiza Sportline 1.7i

My Dad had one of those Tata estates in India for a few years. Wasn't very much like a W124 other than the appearance.
