PPP difference?

Hi,

I am completely new to all things merc, so need some advice and pointers if possible. I am currently looking out for a 2008/2009 C63 and have read/seen that there is a Performance pack that some seem to have. Can someone tell me what difference BHP/lbft this makes and is it something that owners have had added afterwards?, and also cost etc.
