Premium Plus/Panoramic Roof Delays??

Hi there

I ordered a new c class hybrid estate about 6 weeks ago and keep getting told by my dealer that there is no availability on the premium plus/panoramic roof as they have run out of roofs at the factory?

Sounds very odd to me. Does anyone know if this is the case or had any experience of this. Im also told that delivery may be October if Im lucky.

Ive rang Mercedes UK but they cany confirm this.

I've heard its the hybrid bit that's causing the delay...not the roof...there are some other threads about it

Is it the C300h or the C350e you have ordered? It's not unusual for certain specs to sell out for a particular production month

It's the c300h I looked at the c350e but wasn't too impressed with the loss of boot space. Have test driven a hybrid and was pretty impressed. Just not happy about the wait and lack of firm delivery date.

I ordered my C200 Sport Premium Estate in Hyacinth Red on the 30th of June. It was delivered on the 30th of July complete with panoramic sunroof.

TB1 - I wonder if you inherited my C200 wagen in Hayacinth red which was ordered beginning of January, cancelled by April, and became a E250 wagen in Hyacinth! I cancelled because there was no availability.....

Maybe. It was originally scheduled for delivery in September. I have the driver Assist package and Intelligent LED lights so if you ordered these it could well be your cancelled order.
