Problems with my knob

Now i have your attention

When i got my car, the gear knob badge was missing, all i have is a plain silver recess where i believe there should be some sort of insert, like this one on the right?

Now, according to the chap i spoke to at the stealers, you cannot buy replacement badges for the knob but you have to in fact buy the complete knob itself.

So that lead me to looking what aftermarket options there are. There appears to be very little in UK / europe that i have found (so far)

I did find this in the states, which looks quite nice.

Just wondering if anyone else has replaced theirs, either wear and tear or for a change / modification. Please post up what you have.

It's exactly like the one on the right in the first link but of course missing then badge. Will try to get an exact pic of how it is now.

I bought a Formymercedes one a few years back. Pretty good quality but the sticky tape was rubbish to used some clear bath sealant.

Blank is correct if you don't have keyless go, there's nothing missing.

I suspected it was as mercedes / AMG intended. It just looks so unfinished.
