I would suggest selling your whole DELL pc, some people like Dell computers, then buy/build a new one to the spec you need.
I used to follow the upgrade route, but have realised it is better to buy/build for a specific requirement (as future proofing is a joke) and then sell it on and replace when the need changes. I go through about 2 PC's a year at the moment
