Hello,
At Mbworld I posted a thread about my finished project C63, so I want to share my project to this forum too.
I hope you will enjoy reading this thread and hopefully you will like my modded C63 too
Info
I bought a C63 2009 this year in the end of April, actually it was not my planning to buy a C63 but to change my ML63 2007 for a newer one (2010/2011), but the car salesman sold me this one so I bought this for my wife.
Here are some pics how the car was when I bought it:
This C63 has a performance package (487 hp), color pearl white and 19 inch OEM wheels.
I asked the dealer to add some carbon parts to that car; it was for me too white IMO so he put a carbon spoiler on my trunk, carbon covers for my mirrors and a carbon diffuser.
Then I also bought some dark taillights.
When my wife finally got her drivers license and she had driven the C63 and the ML63, she doesn't like to drive the C63 anymore:wall bash:
At that moment I thought what should I do with that car; driving our dailey ML was more comfortable than the C63.
And then I had an idea to pimp that car and my new hobby was born.
I want to make that car so brutal, that there will be only one of a kind
I don't know anything about cars, so step by step I gather some infos on the internet and how to transform that car in a hell of a beast!!!
For the first time I saw the carbon parts on her car, I wanted more and more!
So my "carbon" addiction starts in May 2013, just when I had bought that car…
Akrapovic exhaust systems
At the internet I also saw an exhaust system of Akrapovic, I heard they are the king of the exhaust systems and just after a month I bought a completely exhaust system of Akrapovic:
Mercedes C63 AMG with Akrapovic exhaust (REVS & SOUND), BMC filters and Tuning 550 HP - YouTube
Carbon Interior
One month later (july) I started to order some carbon parts to complete my interior.
I already had some standard carbon parts in my interior such as a part of the console and door trims, so I thought I would be more prettier to have a completely interior of carbon
After 3 weeks I changed some parts such as instrument cluster, start button, all vents, console plate and steering wheel
CF Instrument cluster and start button
CF vents
CF console plate
Steering wheel
CF H20 dipped wheels
Even my wheels I want to have it in carbon.
So I went to a company who did my wheels on a special way with H20:
They put some carbon foil on a bath with water and dipped the wheels into it (H20 dipping), much better then wrapping it and much stronger.
After dipping the wheels they get a coating
For now, all the carbon parts doesn't impressive that much, because the interior is not ready.
In combination with a whole new interior, you will see the carbon parts will come to their end.
Because all carbon parts were made to order, it took me 6/7 weeks to have the parts complete.
So in September I finally start with the whole interior!
New interior with carbon pattern
Because my sickness for carbon, I choose a special leather with carbon patterns in combination with alcantara leather in black and white
They stripped the whole interior:
