As the title, how would i go about this?
Would i just need a suitable Boss and then its sorted?

Want one on the E500.

You'll be putting a Porsche badge on it next then :D :D

WHY?

Surely you'd be better putting an MB steering wheel on your MB???

I would guess because of the specific link between his e500 and porsche.

can we see a pick of the wheel?

The way I see it you have two problems to sort out:

1. There will likely be no standard boss for this so you will have to "engineer" some kind of adaptor.

2. The airbag probably won't be compatible so you will either have to adapt it or simply disable it.

Just thought it would be nice and different to have a porsche steering wheel in the car :D

Havent got space for the Porsche stickers, got too many Ripspeed ones on already :p

Have been looking at something like this, but not for that price:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/OEM-PORSCHE-9...39:1|66:2|65:12|240:1318&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14

The whole thing with the Boss is what is stopping me at the moment.
Its either a wheel like that or one from an C36 AMG, the grey and black leather one.
Whichever i find first i suppose, depending on whether i can adapt the Porsche one to fit

You might get lucky and the spline's the same. If not it's going to be hard work

You'll also have to deal with the slip rings for the horn and for the airbag

Do you also wear a Ferrari jacket?

If the answer is no, then don't bother, it'll look quite sad imo.

Dave!

Ferrari had no involvement in this car where as Porsche did.

Ive got a black and grey AMG steering wheel if you after one.

PM me with details dude :)
