Hi MB Club - my R class ( 320 CDi 2006) is playing up with an annoying fault with the rain sensors. Whilst in rain sensor mode, they start to wipe (with rain !) and then immediately stop just away from their parked position. Then they are stuck unless I move the switch. If I turn it off, the wipers actually come on and wipe continuously, if I turn them to constant wipe they wipe continuously and then if I turn them back to rain sensor it temporarily resets them..... Two minutes later they stop again in the same position and so on........ So when it's raining all the time, as it is at the moment (West Midlands, UK), it's a pain. My local dealer said it was a relay, which they replaced and no change...... I have not been back recently as the £100 interrogation (!) fee leaves me feeling somewhat poorer ! Anyone else experienced this or know of a simple solution ! Maybe just replacing the unit behind the mirror ? Thanks, Martin H
