R126 SL73 AMG - any RHD available?

Hey guys,

I'm quite intrested in the R129 and have heard about the SL73 which could be right up my street. Is there any RHD's available in the UK and more importantly does anyone know if there is any up for sale at the present? I know they are quite rare, but I'm in no absolute rush to get one so can wait...

Rare, yes. Only 85 made, and AFAIK all but one (a special for the Sultan of Brunei) were LHD. Also expensive - the last two I've seen advertised were £45k and £65k respectively ...

You should speak to Charles Ironside - www.charlesironside.co.uk

He got hold of the Sultan's SL730 AMG (SL73, without the facelift bodykit).
He's sold it twice in the last few years, both times at around £45k.

Standard SL73 has 525bhp; the Sultan's SL730 has 565bhp. So not only is it as rare as hens' teeth, but it's more powerful too!
