R129 600sl

I would be interested to hear if anyone else has a 600 for sale or knows of one, thank you.

Car 1: 1996 (95MY) Mercedes SL600 in Black, Rear Seat, UK registered.
Car 2: 1997 Mercedes SL600 in Brilliant Silver Metallic, Black/ grey leather, UK registered, 80,000 miles.
Car 3: 1997 Mercedes SL600 in Metallic deep red, NOT UK registered yet, but UK paperwork here, UK customs/VAT paid etc, just need MOT to register.

Not sure what is going on with these but might be worth a look. I reckon they're slightly leggy and might not have valid MOT's / have been driven recently. The words project and SL600 don't really go together and could lead to a serious money pit but if you're competent enough (or lucky enough to have a specialist who is then they might be worth a look) :p

Personally I'd keep the 500. Much prefer the V8 over the V12! If they're from Japan then they should be very clean and tidy underneath.

Thank you but have seen those and the ad sends all kind of alarm bells ringing. Much prefer to buy RHD from a fellow enthusiast who has loved and cared for their car.

The 500 is great but having had other V12's in the past there is something special about them for me (even if they are much more expensive to maintain).

Still looking if anyone knows of a nice genuine UK RHD 600
