Can someone point me to a thread on this as im sure others have already been on this journey!

1998 SL320 (MY97) rear shock on left is now squeaking so time to replace.
Palnning to just replace with a standard Bilstein B4 also all the adjustment bolts on rear suspension for tracking are rusted in.

Will change the rear shocks and need to get new bolts etc does anyone reccomend any other replacements? as it now will get taken apart might as well do everything needed - car feels tight it is only the squeek that means i need to change the shocks.
thanks
nathan

Mileage? That will largely govern what is worth replacing.

im looking to keep the car for as long as i can so looking to also get a good return from maintenance

The rear shocks are quite straight forward. Boot trim and rear panel out gives you access to the top mounts, a little fiddly but that's about it.
