I was recently asking some questions on here re. W204 C350 CDi's, but having recently sold my Audi S4, I've decided I need another V8 in my life!
I'm looking at something around the 2005 / early 2006 mark (in the lower tax bracket), ideally in iridium silver or black, with the turbine wheels (I know they're a pain to clean but the look is worth it IMO), and as many other options as possible.
I've read all the useful info already on here about these, but just really wanted to see if anyone has any other info about them since previous threads. I'm keen to know anything anyone has come across in terms of notorious weak points or anything I should look out for in particular when looking at these. I have read a lot of horror stories about the cost of front brake discs on models of this age with the 6-pot calipers - has anyone found any replacement discs for less than the extortionate MB prices?
Any info anyone can provide would be great!
