R320 2007 CDI Diesel (110Km)
Issue:
Short loud "T-H-H-H-R-R-R-U-S-H-H-H-H" sound after 3 min. at Cold Startup (passenger side)
Description:
Start car in cold (winter morning) (there's no noise)
Wait 3 minutes, while engine is running (still no noise)
After 3 minutes, a 2 second sound (that is much louder than the engine at idle), it sounds like: "T-H-H-H-R-R-R-U-S-H-H-H-H" and goes away
The sound is definitely on the passenger side.
Sound is now infrequently showing up at low speed under load
I have deduced that the sound us actually air pressure.
The sound is a blast of air that is released just behind the passenger headlight (under the hood). I stopped at the dealer to have them check it, and they told me that since there are no errors from the car, then leave it alone, but they couldn't tell me if it was normal or not...
Does this sound normal to any Airmatic suspension owners?
