radiator fan

One of my radiator fans on my facelift w202 C240 has started making a racket. Looking at the car from the front it is the right hand one.

When you spin it by hand theres a small clunk from inside as it rotates, sounds like a bearing to me. Fan still works ok just really noisy.

Is the nearside fan an engine cooling fan or aircon? and i suppose do i need a mortgage to replace it?

If it's got twin fans they're for the aircon, cost wise they're about £130 new, if you struggle to find one I've got a used one if that's any help?

How To

Anyone have a HOW TO on changing the passenger side aircon fan or have any tips please before I go and rip half of the front of the car apart?
