Radio Code - W210

Hi, I have replaced the battery on my 2002 W210 but I don't have a radio code!. It's wanting me to put in a 5 digit number. Can anyone help?.

Dealer can supply the code assuming the car has the original stereo. Or there are sites that can provide the code from the serial number like Decode Database - DND Services Ltd

I whant to take out my radio a replace it with after market one. How does the original radio hold there? Is it on screws or just some plastic clips?

you need the extractor tool, you can buy them in Halfords for around £5 (other motor factors are available)

I got the code for mine on production of my V5 and proof of ID from the dealer, no charge and it only took them a minute to look it up
