Radio illumination

Hi,
Just bought a E200K 2001 (Y), and the radio illumination has just stopped working. Have I pressed a button incorrectly?
There is also a red LED that flashes on the radio when I switch off the car.
You can view and change the radio from the dashboard also.

Pls help

The red LED is the alarm mate.

Light out sounds like a bulb, cannot remember a switch to turn it off???

Nope , sounds like the bulb

Take it back if your car is still under warranty and they will prob just give you a whole new headunit
