radio interference when charging mobile phone on 05 clk

hi everyone,hope you can help,i bought my mercedes back at the end of august,its a clk convertible,05 ,280 avantgarde,when i plug in my phone to charge it i have alot of interference on the radio,its not the charger as i have used it in the works van and it is fine,any ideas?,thankyou in advance,gary

I would still try a different charger and a different cable first.

The radio antenna coax cable in the van might be better shielded etc.

As @markjay says, it will be the charger - even if it was ok in another vehicle.
Try a good quality one and see how it goes

USB devices can produce RF interference, not all do and it's nowt to do with the cost.
How close to the antenna is the charger?

Try a ferrite ring. Dirt cheap on Amazon. Cured exactly the same problem I had when charging my phone and when dash-cam was charging.
