I'd want some confirmation that it is a genuine AMG car before i parted with five grand for a 180 thousand mile car.

I know AMG did a 3.4 AMG w124 and a 3.6 w124 , but not heard of a 3.2

I'd want to see some proper photos too , not ones from a phone.

I doubt that`ll be an AMG car 3.4 yes but not 3.2
AMG did a few 3.2s with the early M103 engine but i doubt that`s one of them

Not sure I like the dechroming - was this standard?

£5000 no offers with 180k miles does seem a tad on the high side too. Could have a lot more modern metal for that money, or indeed a non-amg CE for a fair bit less.

There was a few 3.2s made,from the early 103s
A member here MAZZA has a 190 AMG with 3.2 engine,and Nick.ged`s twin turbo has a 3.2 m103 also

I did not know before but yes,the AMG cars came de-chromed,not the grill though
On the other hand,those headlights are killing me

I never liked wald kit for W124s,a bit to modern and round-ish to suit the car

I think its a nice looking car, but agree the front lamps are not nice and would need to know its a genuine AMG.

But assuming it was a real AMG, then I think 5k is a very good price. Yes, its a high miler, but I have seen w124 AMG's going for a lot more. There is a member here selling his for 8k ish.

Mine is a very similar car with all the genuine GEN1 Kit, Duck tail spoiller, 17" AMG Aero I's, etc, etc and I paid a similar'ish price. Yes I think I overpaid a bit, but I love these cars and mine's 100k miles for a 1990 so I will live with it!

Will be interested to see where this one goes...

The car looks like a bit of a mix and match. The bonnet and grill are prefacelift, and the front bumper is a facelift.

AMG only produced the 3.2 AMG engine in very limited numbers and as far as I know, only until the the 300-24 was released (1990). Once the multi-valve engine was released by MB, AMG used that as a base and developed a 3.4 version.

I wouldnt put my money on that having anything but a AMG kit \ wheels.

If it does it is the standard later E320 104 3.2 litre engine.

the previous 3 litre engine bored out (AMG).
