Yes I saw that but presence of pins or remains of pins means it was a proper one that replaced the factory badges on the car.. most out there are copies which have to be stuck in place and often end up falling off!

Good Copies/Non pin versions normally show up for anything from £30-£80

And when they do I normally buy them!

Just because a badge may be missing pins does not necessarily mean its a fake/replica. The pins were used on metal badges while plastic versions (found on post-1986 models) had no pins and were held on by adhesive.
