Hi there
I gave my car its Spring clean yesterday & after 4 hours with the doors open & fan on the battery was flat! I charged it overnight & it started this morning but the EPC warning comes on after start up(the ABS & ESP did but don't now). Also the radio is dead- nothing appears on the front panel at all(I have the code but code does not appear when the knob is pressed). I checked fuse number 5 under the seat(it is an estate)& that appears fine, had a look at other wires/connectors around the battery in case I had knocked any but nothing was apparent. Any ideas on both? Does the car need a good long run for the EPC(have I got that right Electronic Power Control???)to go away.
All suggestions gratefully received as always.
Many thanks

Hi
I disconnected the battery again & got "code" up this time, so the radio now works.
I now have the 3 warnings but I am sure they will go after a good run tomorrow.

Turn the steeing wheel from lock to lock a couple of times. This should get rid of the ABS/ESP warning.

Still have the EPC light on start-up despite a 3 hour run today. Also the starter cuts-out before the engine has fired, so you have to do it again before it starts. Any ideas anyone? Thanks
