Rear AMG Ducktail spoiler. Should I??

I think it will ruin the lines.. the car is beautiful as is... it speaks for itself

Leave it alone, they dont call it a spoiler for nothing.

The spoiler makes the car stand out/look different to the standard SLs and would not look out of place as you have the complete AMG bodykit alloys BUT had you not had rest of the AMG kit then the spolier on its own would then look out of place.

If the boys down at AMG thought that the spolier looked that bad then I'm sure they would not let the cars leave the factory like that!!!

Guess the later AMGs probably had them fitted as standard or was it an extra option at the time?

I've not seen any with the spoiler on. Its a bit of an '80s throwback IMHO. More likely to see them on older cars than newer ones.
I've seen them on 124s and SECs mainly.

On its own it would look naff, however the with the rest of the AMG kit i think it does look quite good.
