Hi can anyone tell me how to change the rear fog light bulb on C Class W205, or if there is no bulb, (I could not find one) where is the fuse ? tia.

Have you checked the handbook? Should cover bulb replacement (will be different for saloon & estate - not sure which you have) and fuse assignments.

Aren't the rear lights LED, with the possible exception of the brake light bulb? If so, then the entire cluster will need replacing (unless you know someone who can repair them).

Not sure on a 10 year old car. Hence the suggestion to check the handbook - if it has bulbs then there will certainly be instructions on how to change them!

I have checked hand book, and there is nothing regarding changing the bulbs. So I think they are LED's.

The W204 facelift (from 2011 onwards) had LED rear cluster lights as standard, so the W205 will likely have it as well.

Just had another look at the hand book, rear lights are LED's so unit replacement required.

As mentioned the handbook should give you the fuse assignments, if you want to check that before shelling out for a new light unit (which I assume won't be cheap!). I'd have a quick look at the connectors as well, just in case.

I had to buy another rear light, complete assembly. I did not fancy remortgaging the house to pay for a new one so I looked on ebay I found some new ones for around £100. but they were clearly Chinese copy's lacking any resemblance of quality, and will most likely throw up a fault after 5 min's if they last that long. I managed to get a S/H genuine unit for £124. Witch works as it should.
