Apologies if this has been asked before, but could anybody advise if there are any issues, i.e. proper sealing with rear spoilers that use 3M tape as the fitment method. I'm thinking of those for a W211 Feb 06.
Thanks in advance for any advice.

IMO adding any spolier to a MB other than the W124 AMG duck tail spolier and W203 C55 AMG boot spolier to cars that have the full AMG body kit, this will spoil any MB car (especially a W211).

Thanks for your aesthetic views Flash. It was a spoiler like this I was considering.

I have found that most tapes tend to lose their grip over time ( power washing, car shampoo etc seem to adversely affect the tape) It is better to use a good quality windscreen adhesive ( if it holds in a windscreen , it will hold a spoiler)

I like it! its not like the legions of w202's you see now with big LED ones.

It's all down to personal taste but IMO it spoils the car but if you like it then good luck with install. :)

Check out this dreaded after market spoiler on the boot lid of a W203 (non AMG)

Pop down to your local bodyshop and ask them to bond it on for you. It only takes 2 mins and can't see them charging more than drink money!

I doubt at motorway speeds that the 3M tape will last very long.
