Has anyone had it done ? I know it will involve filling the holes / boot lid respray and be an expensive job for what it is but I like the clean look. I’m in the north west of England and it’s a A class. If anyone could recommend a good body shop would be much appreciated.

I can understand 'deleting' model numbers etc, but just curious why remove the 'star'?? It's still obviously going to be a MB!!!!!!!!

Why would there be a hole? Just get some dental floss or similar and pull it off, it's just stuck on. Get the glue off and hand polish.

Fishing line also works well...

Each to their own, however, when you come to sell it you may well end up with a boot-lid that is a very slightly different colour to the rest of the car. Spray the badge boot-colour?

Must agree with others about removal of the MB badge, I would keep it as I like to show loyalty to a brand I love, the model ones maybe but in my experience I've seen a lot of them removed because they have a base spec, "keep them guessing" attitude. As I believe they come with three prongs on the back, at least that's what they used on the video I watched of a MB being built on the modern production line, seems expensive to remove have some filler added, yuck, and the a trunk lid resprayed, at least the model ones are just stuck on.

Just after the clean / uncluttered look. Something different that I’ve not seen before.

You make a good point on the colour issue but I plan on keeping the car for a couple years so once it’s had a bit of sun and dirt on it I doubt the untrained eye would notice. Could glue it back on to take it back to standard when selling.

Untrained EYE on here, i don't this so. ;) we can tell where the dirt on your car comes from.

Is there not three holes there when the badge is taken off

Why do you want to remove the badge, even after removing it will remain MB. 😒
