Water/particle flow abrasion is the way to go, followed by a flow test.

I dont think clocks can be swaped over from on car to another .IIRC there chassis coded and this cannot be recoded . We had to change clocks in work , from mph to kph or visversa , what we done was disassembale the clocks and swap over the face from the secondhand clocks we where buying .

Of course u can, u need to put the mileage back to under 100miles using a tool like tachometer pro and then program it to the car using star, it will then code itself to the cars milage.Anything over 100 miles and it will not take the cars mileage and show ----- on the clocks.

I suppose you need to know the right people in the trade to do it
I agree with alps it is possible and has been done before in the US

hmm the instrument cluster is coded to the EIS and most models clusters cannot be changed as the car just wont start. their may be some software out there that allows it to be done but cannot be done on star AFAIK.

W211 clusters can be swapped, as Alps said earlier if the mileage isnt coded to the car it will display ----
