Gorgeous...........except for the awful Barryboy tea tray boot spoiler .
I understand it serves a purpose for the track, but it just looks ridiculous on a road car.....IMO of course.

Think I would rather an sls for that money. What am I missing? The black series look as though they should come with a Burberry flat cap and pointy shoes (runs for cover).

I have been to a meet at bluewater where an SLS and a B/S have been and the black just has something about it that the SLS cant match? I cant put my finger on it maybe its just me

I think SLS better investment and build quality but of course different cars all together anyway.
Build quality I mean finish more than anything with so many bits being shared with the entry level rep wagons .... The SLS was always high end

Point taken but I still don't get it. Sls a fine gt car. Amg sl great roof down gt. Amg s class great trans Europe express. If you want racing style seats and racetrack body addenda surely you are better served with something from porsche or ferrari et al?

Agree with you. I suspect the C63 is the 'best AMG' as a track car which is great if that is what you are after. Money aside (if I could afford one) I wouldn't have one. I would have most other AMG over it to be honest. S,E,SL,SLS are all better finish, more relaxing and less in your face. But as a track toy I am sure nothing would better it ... I am just personally not into tracks but others are I have no doubt.

But for £97k I think I would go either SLS or even AMG-GT.
I test drove the CLK63 Black about 6 years ago. Loved it.... all 60 minutes or so.... unfortunately 60 minutes is all you'd ever want on the road as your main car.... so I kept the CLS55 back then.....plus I think the payment/part-ex were really more than I could afford

Well, academic for a man of my means. However if it was huggy seats I wanted then it would be a porsche 911 gt3 or similar.
As an all rounder then sls or 911 turbo.
I think the black for me is too 'shouty' and that is saying something when you look at the gt3 and sls.

I think the SLS is a nice medium rare Rib Eye and the C63B a kebab with lots of hot sauce. Both have a place in ones diet

How does "premier footballer" owned car help sell it or make it a more desirable car? Ok. I get that people follow footy but would you buy a footballers car "just because"??
