My s class was giving me quite a bit of grief end of last year, and I had left it alone for a bit.
When I finally decided to take it into the garage, it presented another problem. As the suspension had leaked, and it was sitting on the floor, when the AA guy got it off the flatbed, he damaged the bumper.
I let that go, as the AA is due to pay me to have it repaired.
But driving it back, all I could say was WOW! I haven't driven it for over a month now, and have been using my brother's 3 series (m-tech:so hard suspension, bucket seats, manual etc). As soon as I drove up the road, it instantly reminded me of the first time I drove it. Its like a magic carpet-just hovering around! And power? You get used to it, so it doesn't seem like a lot. But stepping out of the 1.9 sport engine and into a 5.0 V8.....
I didn't want my journey home to end!
