I've had an ongoing problem with my C240, which has been partially cured by replacing the MAF.
It's a 1998 model with over 190k on the clock but has been well-maintained mainly by MB main dealer. Cold running issues aside it never misses a beat.
When running from cold, once the temp gauge gets to about 60 the engine starts to 'hunt', and it doesn't seem to be running on full power.
It ran like this all the time prior to replacing the MAF but now only does this on cold start.
I've had the ECU checked but there are no fault codes.
Looking at other threads I'm now wondering if it is the regeneration valve that is at fault?
If so, is it the simple job to replace that it appears?
