Hi all,
Daft question but just want to make sure I have all bases covered!
Following a PC hard drive failure, a new hard drive is being installed. One particular product that I'll have to re-install necessitated you to delete a number of registry keys after uninstalling before upgrading or re-installing it as the uninstall process doesn't completely remove all traces of the product.
Now, as the PC is having a new hard-drive fitted, presumably the registry key deletions to rid the system of the previous install prior to re-install of the product, won't be necessary as the registry would be on the old hard-drive and therefore gone as I'm presumably starting from a blank canvass in terms of the registry?
I suppose I'm just trying to verfiy that all the old regsitry stuff would've gone with the old hard-drive and there won't be any of it lurking anywhere else.
Cheers.
