Remap r320cdi engine worth it?

I'm thinking of remapping my R320 CDI to give it another 30 bhp and was wondering if it is worth doing? Does it ruin the engine or gearbox?

I have been quote £180.00 supplied and fitted and was always wondering if this is a good price?

Hello

I have a Brabus D6 box on my E320Cdi yours will be the V6 being an R class.

On mine I think the box gives around 45 bhp / 70lbs ft torque,

Makes overtaking even easier and I'm guessing the traffic light dash is around 7 seconds?

MPG if you drive normally also seems improved.

I get 45mpg at 70mpg just over 40 at 80mpg and even towing our caravan its giving 28mpg.

All in all I'm happy with it. Its not often I give it the full beans but when you do its like...wow that was quick

Price wise that sounds cheap. Also check with your insurance company. Mine was cheaper when I moved to Adrian Flux and declared the Brabus box and larger wheels

Will a Brabus Eco Boost from a CLS320CDI fit my R320CDI engine??

I think it will but just double double checking............

Also, are they that easy to fit? Does it need tuning or is it a simple plug in system?

Probably I would not like to say for sure...

E-mail this chap the code on the Brabus box he is very helpfull, will send instructions etc if it doesn't come with them.

Its plug and play but I asked my indy to do it when the car was in anyway,
