Hi, I've had my 2016 GLE 350d 4matic for around 18 months, but have never had the need to use the driver's door switches, for either the tailgate or the tow hitch. I know - should have checked everything when buying, but too late to go back now!
Anyway, neither works, but both are O.K. on the tailgate itself, and from the key fob.
The car is used mainly for towing our TA caravan, so the hitch is in regular use.
There are three fuses listed for the tailgate, and seven for the trailer hitch. All are O.K. One thing I did notice, is that when operating the trailer hitch, the driver's door switch blinked while the hitch was operating.
I wonder if anyone has had the same issue, from either tailgate, trailer hitch, or both?
