Removal of SBC

Is there a write up on the bleeding of the system with MB Star?

I bled rear brakes on 211 before using STAR .

The computer will guide you through each step .

There is a pressurised container used for collecting the expelled brake fluid whilst bleeding , I didnt have this , I collected the excess fluid in a bottle .

I managed to bleed one car without STAR diagnostics , where we simply pumped the fluid trough via the brake pedal , as you would with a standard system .

But everyone who are doing this without star, should later do a air content test via star, one honored member (skilled MB mechanic) in Finnish forum stated that even everything feels right, there often is some air in system. Especially emergency circuit is not bleed if star not used (valves cannot be actuated).

Am I correct in thinking the fluid in SBC reservoir can only be exchanged and bleed by using STAR?
