When I bought my car the dealer said they had applied some sort of coating (maybe ceramic?) to the whole car. I have my doubts as to the extent to which this was actually done, but there we are... It looks like there is something there as the water still beads reasonably well.
However, I would like to remove whatever (if anything) is on there so that I can start afresh and know exactly what i am dealing with. I don't want to clay bar / polish the car if it has some sort of coat on it that i don't 100% understand.
At the time of the sale the dealer said it would come off with a 'mop'. I'm pretty dense, and can't see exactly what he means by this - does he mean a buffer / polisher?
Any other tips for making sure everything is off
