Hi all ive got a clk320 cdi, i had an issue with the shut off motor due to oil ingress, rather than replacing it i decided to remove the entire system.

I followed a thread by Alex crow, however the flaps on the v6 are different, they are not held in with a torx screw. They appear to be riveted in place.

Anyone removed them off a v6 .

Thanks guys

Got the flaps out anyone have any idea how to plug the holes as they were riveted in place there is no thread to simply screw in, any alternatives

You have to tap the threads yourself and then use suitable bolts to seal the holes.

Hi thanks for that, found a local aluminum welder who did both manifolds (all 6 holes) for £40. time to put it all back together
