I have a problem where the sat nav does not see the CD, also when ejecting it it comes out at an upwards angle and does does come right out. I want to take it out to look at it. How is this done without damaging the trim!!

Thanks

What type E class have you got , 211 or 210 ?
The 210 type need MB raido keys
The 211 type
Lift out gear selector souround
Remove ash tray
Unscrew the 20tx screws holding in the CDC unit , disconnect wires , lift out
Unscrew the 2 20tx screws located under the head unit that face unwards , these release a locking system that will allow the headunit to lift out
