Removing suction marks from glass

Laminated screens are glass on both sides with Perspex or similar sandwiched between.....never seen any screen with plastic outers,....they would last until the first time the wipers were used!!
Many of the ones we cut apart don't seem to be glass ; there are certainly layers of plastic , but on some even the inner and outer surfaces seem to be some kind of plastic , or at least synthetic material .

However , some are indeed glass at least on the outside , that's why I was careful to say 'some' and 'many' as this does not apply to all of them .

Before scratching the surface of the glass clean, can I just check, what car glass cleaners have you used?

Autoglym? Meguar ?

If Autoglym did you use the tougher "Glass Polish" rather than the quicker but lighter "Fast glass?"

And did you always use paper (kitchen roll) rather than cloth to clean it afterwards?

I have always used Auoglym Car Glass Polish and finish off with a microfibre cloth.

Autoglym fast glass

My understanding is that fine wire wool is actually less "scratchy" than the dish type scourers.
