Hi,I have a 99 2.3 slk.
Just replaced all front and rear pads, sensors and caliper pins.
The autofactor reckons there is three brake wear sensors in the system but i have only managed to find the two on the front.
Who is correct?
Also anyone know how to adjust the handbrake?
Thanks
John

Only pad sensors in the front pads.

Adjust the handbrake through a wheel bolt hole with a screwdriver.

Some models had a wear sensor/sensors on the rear pad/s especially if they had ESP/ASD stability control etc. Possibly confined to the six cylinder models?

Thanks for te info,
Nick can you please expand on the h/brake adjustment procedure.
Thanks
John

There is an adjustment on the rear shoes (inside the disc). Shine a torch through the wheel bolt holes to see.
