I intend to get chrome hoops and wonder how long it takes to swap and replace the factory fitted ones.

Looking forward to the response to this as it's one of the things I'm thinking of doing to mine - just not sure yet:rolleyes:

I looked at that earlier today - looks a tad scarey to me:eek: don't like the thought of taking my car to bits:( But it looks like the kind of stripping down that would have to be done for the glass wind stop too - which I also want to fit - moreso than the chrome/steel hoops:rolleyes: Can't it be done like a tooth fairy kind of thing, you know, put the hoops/windstop under my pillow and wake up and it all done? No?:D

I have seen too many examples of where it just doesn't go back the same as it was before, but I do really want a glass stop - hate the mesh one:( Might just have to have a couple of G & T's and pluck up courage then.

edited - just had a look at their windstops - and they fit dead easy - I could do it:D reckon that is a deffo must do then:D

That doesnt look too difficult , i would just have to get your top down and just work on taking the coverings off becofe i could get a good look at the hoops.:D

But , seriously ... The W203 dashboard is harder to take apart than that

Trust you - bad bad lad;)

And which bit is harder than taking the dashboard apart - changing the hoops? coz the windstop IS very easy. but you know how I feel about taking my baby to pieces:( and I'm still not 100% about the hoops anyways:rolleyes:
