Hi, I have a C200 Classic Kompressor (March 2001). The left front fog lamp lens in the bumper has a very bad break in it. The replacement part costs around £7, the labour costs £90. I'll do it myself if someome can point me in the right direction. It seems almost impossible to get at the bulb or the lens from beneath the bumper or from the engine compartment. Any ideas, I'd be really pleased to hear them.
Thanks Sprite

Can't help you with instructions but my W203 recently went in to have the steering system dismantled and re-done plus replacing the drivers side fog light lens. Car was picked up at about 10am and returned by 2:30pm. Now considering they said they had to remove the power steering pipes, fix and rebuild, I reckon the fog light must have taken all of 30 mins. How hard can it be?

Perciverence is the key here I think.

Have you tried taking out the hatched plastic bit that the fog light is attached to, I'd be surprised if it was even screwed in.

Do you want me to pop round and have a go?? Or bring the part into work and i'll try in the car park if you want?

Thanks for the suggestions. I will have a closer look this weekend and let you know. Sprite
