reseting windows

i have just been reading a thread about reseting the windows after removing the battery on a w202 ? is this the same on a w203 and if so how do you do it

Yes.

Raise the window and hold the button (in the manual position, not "one touch closing" position) for 0.5sec. Repeat for each window (and sunroof if you have one)

You may also need to reset the steering angle sensor.

With the engine running just turn the steering from lock to lock a couple of times.

Woo - turns out my windows aren't broken after all!

Took the battery off yesterday to fit a subwoofer and now the auto-upsy-downamatic doesn't work at all, was going to be crawling through fuseboxes tonight but Search function to the rescue

Sweet!! Just had my gearbox changed and the only clue that the battery was disconnected during the work was the clock half an hour early.
Proves searching this forum does yield awesome info!
